So what’s this role all about?
As Paid Search Specialist you will be responsible for planning, implementing and managing campaigns across an extensive SEM account structure on Google Ads. You will join the Multi-Channel Performance Marketing team and will also be working closely with Marketing Automation Team to maximize ROI, traffic, user growth and the efficiency of paid search.
Here’s a sneak peak at what you can expect to be doing:
Responsible for paid search customer acquisition on web, reporting on traffic, transactions and conversion rates
Develop and lead paid search initiatives reporting to and supporting the Head of Acquisition
Analyze performance; monitor budget pacing and performance trend changes taking immediate action to maximise business impact
Continually evaluate, A/B test and optimize customer acquisition strategies to improve the customer experience and increase overall revenue
Work closely with the Marketing Automation team to execute tests, launch large scale campaigns and maximize ROI
Facilitate knowledge sharing and increase the overall awareness of paid search performance within the business
Stay up to date with the latest in paid search industry best practice – especially around new features and optimisations within Google Ads
Desired Experience and Skills
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a PPC Manager or Digital Marketing Specialist
Experience working with large scale PPC account across Google, Bing, Yandex and other global search provider
Experience with multi-channel campaign planning and optimization alongside tracking and attribution methodologies
Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
Strong analytical skills, with experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Data Studio, SEMrush & Power BI.
Experienced budget owner
In-depth experience with Google smart bidding strategies and audience insights
Excellent communication, both verbal and written
Nice to have
Familiarity with A/B and multivariate experiments
Working knowledge of Google Scripts and Python a plus
Fluent, well-written English essential. Additional languages such as Arabic, Spanish, French, German or Italian an advantage
