Ding has an incredible opportunity for a Product Owner to lead a team of product and partner support agents during this incredibly exciting time for the Company. This is a key role that holds ultimate responsibility for creating and implementing Ding’s global Product roadmap. Ding works with a huge number of varied partners, from mobile carriers, retailers and digital first platforms and you will be responsible for building out and maintaining the roadmap across all of these verticals.
Product is at the heart of everything we do and an important part of this this role will be collaborating with key stakeholders globally to ensure we make commercially sound Product decisions that delight our users. The role involves partnering with teams across Ding including Technology, Data Analytics, User Experience and Marketing and the global commercial teams. The successful applicant will be Ding’s product champion who is passionate about Ding’s opportunity and creating product improvements and initiatives that will assist Ding in changing billions of lives.
Responsibility for developing Ding’s retail and Partner Product roadmap
Create and implement product decisions that will positively impact important metrics such as revenue, monthly average users etc.
Rapidly iterate and constantly improve the product
Find efficient ways of prototyping and testing new ideas to get quick and accurate feedback
Define expected user outcomes and business value of products
Identify risks associated with online product decisions and ensure appropriate mitigations are implemented
Follow market trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive advantage for Ding
Ensure Ding has a continual 12-18 month pipeline of new product opportunities and initiatives that is in line with Ding’s overall online strategy
Set product standards for Ding and assist with cross team initiatives
Manage the Partner Support team and Dublin based Product Manager, and understand the client feedback from this channel and incorporate it into Product actions.
Champion Ding’s purpose and values and act as Gatekeeper for Ding’s culture
Extensive experience owning and driving user product roadmap with experience of agile and kanban
Demonstrable experience immersing yourself in user communities to understand their needs and desires
A performance history of creating value through digital product innovation
Proven track record of building and scaling successful, consumer facing mobile products
A successful track record leading a Product team
Experience in working across different business units to create consensus and communicate the Product vision
A highly empathetic and emotionally intelligent Product visionary who can empathise with users’ needs and understands user psychology and its impact on adoption and usage
Relationship builder who regularly consults and collaborates with key stakeholders to influence and advise on Product initiatives
A highly effective communicator who can explain the product vision and strategy to ensure they are understood and embraced
